Coaching & Supervision
Motivational Interviewing Coaching
MI coaching is a collaborative process designed to help professionals strengthen their Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills. I offer individualized feedback and guidance to support growth, refine practice, and improve client outcomes. Coaching can be delivered one-on-one or in groups, and is always tailored to the needs of the clinician or organization. The process emphasizes skill development through the deliberate practice method, introduced by Anders Ericsson over 25 years ago. This method promotes improvement through focused, purposeful practice. Clinical Supervision
Supervision means having a more hands-on role in a clinician’s work with clients, and assumes shared legal and ethical accountability for the care being provided. Here, client safety is the number one priority. As a supervisor, I’m responsible for supporting ethical, effective treatment, monitoring client progress, and offering guidance on interventions when needed. It’s also a space for growth - where we review cases, build skills (especially in MI and ACT), and strengthen your clinical judgment. Supervision is about helping you grow as a provider while making sure clients receive the best possible care.
Consultation
As a consultant, although client care is always at the forefront of our work together, the legal and ethical responsibilities are not assumed by me either because you are a supervisor yourself or have one supervising you. We may nave a number of goals in consultation and they may be client-centered, consultee-centered, or program-centered.
